I am registered as a candidate engineer at ECSA and form part of the mechanical engineering team at DSP consulting. My responsibilities include technical (design, engineering, and coordination), supervision of contractors and site inspections, performing quality tests, and providing construction progress feedback. I formed part of a team responsible for the building services required for the upgrades on the Ford Motor Company assembly plant known as the P703 ranger project.

Through the servicing of different mining equipment at Fraser Alexander, I was exposed to the maintenance of front-end loaders, dump trucks and bulldozers, by changing buckets on and servicing of hydraulics on the different vehicles.

Whilst being temporarily employed for a 5-week period as an engineering student and was exposed to CNC machine work and the development of new products; for example, the building of gears and frames.
