Now the chair and co-founder of the newly launched Auspicious film, digital and pr group, Mark previously co-founded and co-ran Media Zoo, a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 company and PR Week's fastest growing agency as well as the company that was twice voted the UK's production company of the year.Before this, Mark was a BBC Creative Director as well as retained by one of the world’s largest PR companies as its Media Counsel. This involved him giving its worldwide client base strategic and tactical advice on a variety of media issues as well as putting senior people through intensive interview rehearsal sessions, often immediately prior to them facing the world’s press.Over the years, Mark has become one of London's most sought after message facilitators and media trainers. Using a unique methodology based on cutting edge communications theory and solid journalistic insights, Mark has built up a bespoke portfolio of blue chip clients including many FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies, some city institutions, a number of well known celebrities and even the occasional sovereign government.Mark’s media expertise comes from his strong journalistic background. Mark ran the BBC Watchdog programme for five years and launched Rogue Traders and UK’s Worst, two new shows that went straight into the factual top ten. Before that, he spent ten years working for Panorama and World In Action, the UK’s two leading current affairs programmes. He has won a host of TV awards including the Royal Television Society’s best current affairs programme and the Broadcast Press Guild’s best single documentary.Mark writes periodically for the UK national press and has contributed to the Sunday Times, the Financial Times and the Independent amongst others. He has also written two books, both of which were featured in national newspapers. Mark has a degree in Media Studies and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
