Lead and manage Enterprise Tools roadmapCollaborate with multiple teams across Deltek working on modernizing tools and support services in a fast-paced, complex environmentResponsible for defining architecture standards, best practices and guidelines for Enterprise ToolsConsolidate and standardize tools across Deltek product offerings to ease product supportabilityPartner with key associates (e.g. Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure Engineers, Solution Delivery Managers) to create well-defined support solutionsEnsure all designs leverage common architectures and services that can meet key design criteria (Availability, Recoverability, Scalability, Performance characteristics) and can be properly supported by Deltek support and operations teamsPartner with Senior Leaders across Cloud and Engineering to drive innovations and services that would improve operational efficienciesWork closely with the security team and defined processes and procedure to ensure adherence to highest standardsManage vendor relations and drive roadmap to meet Deltek’s requirementsEvaluate supportability options during mergers & acquisitions and provide necessary advice working closely with all stakeholders

· Troubleshoot complex problems, provide software fault diagnosis, resolve operational issues, and interact with vendors and Deltek’s Engineering and Customer Care teams.· Manage cloud server/storage deployments including upgrade, promotion process, image management, data transfers, backup/restore, HA/DR· Schedule and Deliver virtual server maintenance and software upgrades for PIM, PIM infrastructure services, software upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations with minimal software down-time · Ensure 100% service uptime by monitoring system stability and performance to ensure system availability, reliability, and usability·Manage growing team of Cloud Operations Engineers focused on Application and Infrastructure Management ·Provision new Cloud customers by creating new databases, configuring application and report servers for PIM applications.· Perform customer initiated service request that include performing database restores, customer environment creation and admin user administration · Identify areas that require automation or scripting to performed recurring tasks in a more efficient way· Work with the Cloud Operations infrastructure team to implement and perform system upgrades via Puppet automation software.· Monitor system resource utilization, errors & alerts trends for the purpose of problem management and capacity planning· Execute database management (mirroring, replication, backups and disk space) and tuning activities/procedures.· Document system architectures, systems configurations, and technical operational processes and policies· Create and implement monitoring, procedures, tools and standards related to system and application security (e.g. intrusion detection, denial of service, configuration change, cross site scripting, SQL injection, OS patching, etc.)
