Employment experience.Worked for four years with the Office Of Public Works as a Tour Guide at the Rock Of Cashel, a complex of medieval church buildings and one of the most visited heritage sites in Ireland. Worked for fourteen years at the Lisheen underground Zinc / Lead Mine in the field of Geology and Grade Control and also a member of the Mine Rescue Team for 10 years, including 3 as team Captain.Lisheen Mine Safety Person of the Year 2001 ( Inaugural year ). Awarded for showing strong leadership underground in the field of health and safety, prolific and consistent safety suggestions, diligent work as Safety Representative for the Geology Department, an uncompromising rejection of short cuts and risk taking, the education and encouragement of colleagues in relation to behaviour and attitudes and the implementation of Safety Management Systems. Volunteer experience.Served with An Garda Siochana ( Ireland's Police Force ) as a member of the Reserve from 2007 - 2011.Qualified as an Emergency Medical Technician in 2009 and volunteered with the London Ambulance Service and Order of Malta Ambulance Corps.Served with the South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association from 2003 - 2011.Qualified Athletics Ireland Coach and member of Moyne Athletic Club, Tipperary, Ireland for 15 years.
