Returned to a lead analyst position when the company reorganized and down sized some departments and groups. Provided technology services and maintenance support as needed throughout the US collecting data, analyzing and developing reports for multiple sites on the current condition of their equipment. Worked with customers to evaluate their maintenance programs and procedures and find ways to help improve their programs with the use of predictive maintenance technologies, precision maintenance and improved PM procedures. Mentoring work with customer’s site maintenance personal that wanted to take their vibration program in house. Helped their personal learn data collection process and procedures and developing them for first pass data analysis.

Worked as a team member doing various assignments as part of PDM program development projects around the US working on site and at my home office as needed based on project requirements. • Preformed Asset Verification and walk down to develop a comprehensive list of the currently installed equipment. This information was used to systematically develop a maintenance strategy for a site based on equipment types and likely failure modes related to the different equipment and parts.• Preformed PM Optimization and Enhanced Maintenance Plans which involves reviewing likely failure modes of different equipment types and then either monitoring for these with Predictive Technologies or addressing them through the use of PM’s. • Reviewed PM task to determine if steps in the task or the whole PM could be replaced with applied technologies when necessary rewriting them to make better use of the maintenance department’s time. • Preformed machine current state analysis and evaluation. • Preformed teardown inspections and participated in RCA /FMEA events.• Mentoring site personal in the process and use of vibration and UE technologies as they developed onsite programs.

Using vibration data, oil sampling data, electrical testing and IR testing, make recommendations for repairs and modifications for machines. Preformed equipment inspections and acceptance testing and follow up repair assessments. Preformed laser machine alignments, sheave alignment and run out checks, belt tension testing and balance work as assigned. Work with site personal repairing and replacing equipment when required, helping with designing braces and machine improvements related to reoccurring failure modes. • Independently coordinate activities, schedule work, and prepare necessary reports.• Accountable for the overall safety of the work environment for the crew, including ensuring compliance with Allied, Client, OSHA, and all other applicable standards.• Perform and oversee specific projects and programs as assigned. • Act as technical resource to the client and employees in the troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment. Machine repair, modification, building and installation of new and existing equipment, held a G2 welding certification; millwright planner; member of the predictive maintenance team conducting vibration analysis, oil sampling, laser alignment and balancing. Participated in Kaizen and TPM events. • Set up and oversaw outside contractors to work on major machine rebuilds and improvements. • Responsible for processing fund requests for equipment repair. • Performed inspection and acceptance testing on repairs made outside the plant.• Maintained spare parts inventory for area of responsibility, ordered parts and worked with vendors to develop quotes for purchasing department.• Worked with vendors to identify improved parts to eliminate failure modes.• Developed first pass oil screening / condition sampling procedure using a CSI 5100 analyzer. • Preformed emergency and PM type machine repairs on failed and running equipment. Repairs included but not limited to replacing bearings, shafts, gearboxes, sprockets and chains, couplings, building and fabricating parts when needed. Used cutting torches, arc welders, power brakes and shears, box and pan manual brake, sheet metal rollers, punch press, drill press, hydraulic press, grinders and porta powers. • Installed and built machines when needed which included designing improved parts to reduce reoccurring failures. Taking concept sketches and working with engineers to build proto type parts and machines working out bugs as needed until a working machine or part was developed. Fabricated but not limited to guards, support structures, chutes, framework, drive mounts and conveyors needed. • Operated forklifts up to 10,000 lbs., Carry deck cranes up to 15 ton, Overhead hoists to 25 ton, used portable chain hoists to 10,000 lbs. moving them around the plant as needed to enable us to pick up and install motors and gearboxes during change out work and installation.
