Emergency-1 Response, Inc. is a provider of event medical services throughout California and beyond. Duties include supervision and support of contracted event venues.

Occupational Health Technician at CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company which provides occupational medical services nationwide. Here I was responsible for providing basic first aid and/or advanced life support through exceptional medical care to all persons working within the confines of construction sites, with knowledge of applicable Federal, regional and local fire/life safety, health & safety and environmental regulations (Fire Codes, OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, etc.)

Responsible for day-to-day operations including facilitation of internal communication between field staff and management, outside agency interface, system status monitoring, facilitating short-term scheduling needs, equipment and supply maintenance, as well as other operational support functions as assigned by the Manager of Operations. I am grateful for having gained real world experience and proficiency by working in one of the busiest 911 and inter-facility ambulance transport systems in the the largest county of the United States. I interacted with people from all walks of life on a daily basis, typically in times of anguish and I believe I have developed strong communication skills as well as a great sense of empathy from my experiences here.

Responsibilities at CBS Television City, one of the largest studio lots in Los Angeles, included providing first-in emergency medical care to audience, cast and crew to some of the largest shows in Hollywood, including The Price Is Right, Dancing With the Stars, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, The Late Late Show and more.In addition to providing medical care, responsibilities included conducting safety inspections of studio spaces and offices on property and insuring safety issues were addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities included providing non-emergency inter-facility ambulance transport for the critically sick and injured in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. I was a voluntary member of the New Ambulance Purchasing Committee.I began my EMS career here. I gained indispensable working knowledge of private EMS and ambulance operations, while having the opportunity to develop positive working relationships with staff, patients and long term residence of hospital and nursing homes, correctional facilities, psychiatric facilities, dialysis centers and long term acute care facilities and more.

I assisted the Marketing Department in building and producing special promotional events at Santa Anita Park.
