In 2016 I began a new career at KI as an Architectural Wall Project Estimator. In September of 2021 I transition to a role of Contract Coordinator in which I manage purchasing contracts within a designated territory. My work experience along with my drive to succeed has served me well.During my time at both KI and LaForce, I have obtained over 10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, which includes estimating and creating quotes. This involves analyzing client-supplied blueprints and specifications, advising on regulatory requirements, and providing technical support to sales representatives, dealers and customers as required.I also have 4 years of experience as an accountant, which included the full array of accounting functions including preparing the company's budget and tax forms.During this time, I have worked with a diverse group of people including general contractors, architects, sales, and upper management, which has allowed me to explore and learn about the construction industry.I have gained expertise in estimating, accounting and contract management, including:-Developing bid strategy to minimize risk and win the project-Creating and managing company budgets-Performing expense analysis-Training new employees-Vehicle fleet administration -Managing and overseeing purchasing contracts within a designated territoryI am very self-driven and motivated. I have a great combination of being professional but also very personable.
