These systems are used as drive systems for refuse vehicles, transit busses, paratransit busses, and delivery vehicles.

Directed and managed the development of strageties and activities for the companies multimillion dollar drive systems business that included electrical, mechanical, hydrostatic, and traction drives. Activities included strategic purchasing, system development, manufacturing, quality, application, marketing, communication, collateral material, and customer relationships for use on the companies product line and industrial drives developed and manufactured for use by GE on washing machines.

Organized, established, staffed and directed the companies project and commercialization group. Assembled and managed a staff of 7 engineers to deliver the companies multimillion dollar capital and tooling investment worldwide. Programs were delivered to the companies manufacturing operations located in the US, China, Hungary, and Germany and ranged in value from $10,000 to $10,000,000.

Managed the companies multi-million dollar non-ride on product categories from cradle to grave. The product categories included mowers, snow throwers, and chore performers. Activities included market & consumer research, competitor analysis, product positioning, research & development, launch activities, retailer and customer presentations and the development and publishing of collateral material. During this time the Troy-Bilt brand and physical assets were acquired, consolidated, and launch into the product portfolio.

Developed and managed a multi-million dollar joint venture (JV) to produce commercial grade outdoor power equipment. The JV required the selection of a site, consolidation of the partners product lines and the greenfield startup to produce the companies product lines. The activities included the acquisition of property, plant, equipment; the placement of industrial revenue sharing bonds, capital lease, and working line of credit. Additional activities included the hiring of a management team and workforce and all collateral programs associated with a manufacturing operation.

Brookpark, Ohio

Primary responsibilities included the identification, placement and construction of the companies multi-million dollar tooling and capital investment for the manufacturing of the companies outdoor power equipment product lines. The responsibilities included financial and timing budgets as well as investment startup activities at the companies production facilities.Additional responsibilities included managing the companies acquisitions as required.
