Architected and developed BladeRunner, a first-of-its-kind internet application server, written entirely in "object-based" C, and which was used to develop business & media web sites iDeal, B Sky B, B&T Online and Silicon.com (founded by Knight, Lewis & Sant).The early days of the web when no tools existed. So I built them myself from ground-up. BladeRunner used a novel CGI processing & database caching architecture, and was one of the first platforms ever to employ virtual servers spun up on demand.

Developed an email file attachment system for help desk staff, and which we successfully rolled out to 15 Compaq countries. Developed an advanced test suite to automate testing the entire help desk platform without human intervention. Designed a help desk automated voice application.

Developed and marketed Jotter, released in 1988, perhaps the world's first fully-fledged word processor on a mobile device, and which was later incorporated into the Psion Organizer II. A Psion fan has kindly put my user manual online for posterity.
