Williams Notaro (WNA) is a full service consulting engineering firm offering expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering & consulting as well as construction management. As a mechanical engineer with WN some of my responsibilities include project management, developing proposals and determining scope of work, project planning, site surveying, system design, drafting, production of construction documents, and construction phase services (bid review, construction meetings, submittal/RFI reviews, field reports, etc.). Design responsibilities include but are not limited to direct coordination with clients and other trades, heating and cooling load calculations, determining ventilation and other code requirements, system calculations, equipment selection and specification, system design and layout, along with the development of control sequences. Beyond the technical aspect, my responsibilities with WNA also include the support of marketing initiatives, attending networking events, managing our in-house printing operations, and the development/improvement of our CAD standards.

Worked on a variety of projects related to improving quality, daily management, data control. Gained experience with design work, improving manufacturing process, cost justification. Participated in Kaizen events and quality meetings.

Worked with the Color Transfer Division located within the Lexmark headquarters in Lexington, KY. Primary project was an overall transfer efficiency study. Had to design, run, report, and present on experiments. Also assembled miscellaneous parts, e.g. Intermediate Transfer Unit. Ran transfer sweeps, graded and analyzed data, entered into database.
