-Principle advisor to the Regimental Commander regarding the integration of all functions of Marine aviation with ground combat operations and training.-Responsible for the preparation, tactical employment, leadership, and safety of the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) to include the Forward Air Controllers (FAC), Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC), Joint Fires Observers (JFO) and Radio Operators.-Plan, coordinate, execute, and supervise training exercises in support of battalion pre-deployment training.-Coordinate, execute, and supervise all TACP training at the battalion level.-Manage subordinate TACP Air Officer/FAC manning.-Prepare, prioritize, process, and coordinate aviation support requests for the regiment and subordinate units.

- Provide standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications in the AH-1W Super Cobra.- Conduct terminal attack control as a qualified Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC).- Coordinate range requirements for a Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB) sized exercise, including the submission and management of all range requests and target build requirements.- Manage a budget of $500,000+ in support of the biannual Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course.- Coordinate and review a MEB-sized flight schedule for accuracy, deconfliction, and Operational Risk Management (ORM) in order to ensure realistic and safe training.- Coordinate and manage more than 300 fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and air-to-air refueling external air support requests for the WTI course. - Major Evolution Coordinator; responsible for all aspects of exercise design, planning, execution, and debrief of a ground and aviation live-fire evolution that integrates 50+ aircraft of 10 different T/M/S, actual ground maneuver elements, FW and RW adversaries, Cyber/Electronic Warfare, and all aspects of the Marine Aviation Command and Control System (MACCS) over the course of a seven-hour execution window at two separate air assault objective areas.

Responsible for the leadership, supervision, professional development and management of more than 70 Marines in three separate work centers.- Ground Safety Officer; facilitate unit safety meetings and document minutes, conduct quarterly work center hazard assessments, act as liaison between host installation and higher headquarters, coordinate work center inspections, industrial hygiene surveys and related safety programs, investigate mishaps to determine classification and reporting requirements and assist with investigation boards. Authored the squadron's nomination and received the FY 2007 Marine CorpsAchievement in Safety Award.
