In the Masters of Accountancy Program, I teach the Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740) Course. I strive to teach the basic to advance topics with respect to ASC 740 while incorporating "real world" examples, discussing tax technical topics such as international tax and corporate structuring, and also discussing various GAAP topics such as stock based compensation, purchase accounting, etc.

PwC is one of the "Big Four" accounting firms that provides outstanding service to some of the largest and most complex companies in the world. During my time at PwC, I served in a variety of roles gaining the key experiences that I needed for as a Tax Partner at KS&CO.My clients included global companies with operations around the world, middle market high-tech companies, emerging growth businesses, high wealth individuals, complex partnerships, all other types of clients in between. In my role as an International Tax Director, I worked with clients navigating the complexities of U.S. and foreign international tax law, structuring and restructuring, transfer pricing, foreign tax credit planning, IP migration, and ASC 740 support. From a U.S. federal tax perspective, gained valuable experience consulting with respect to various federal tax issues. I also prepared and reviewed tax returns from simple partnership returns to complex, consolidated corporations. My true professional passion was assisting companies in complying with ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes. I served in an advisor, auditor, and preparer role with respect to income tax provisions as well as with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404.
