Historically managing multiple projects concurrently & single contract values upto £20 million. I have established, mentored and managed teams of 30-35 operational and commercial management staff from project inception to handover including leading design teams. Conversant with All forms of JCT contracts and NEC. I'm also experienced in pre construction, bid preparation, tender submission and contract negotiation.My most recent activity involved developing a business into a principal contractor operation as Managing / Commercial Director for 13+ years. Successfully undertaking the whole spectrum of construction management lifecycle from business development and tender submission, cost management to final account and operational delivery of projects in terms of quality and time along with implementing and monitoring SHEQ and compliance aspects.My track record is in delivery of an array industry sectors education ,healthcare, defence, high specification residential, housing, industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial, retail and leisure and complex civil engineering and sea defence / structures. I've a wealth of experience and success with public sector, private and blue chip organisation clients.I pride myself not only in a researched and methodical application of my skills but also being able to offer technical and commercial solutions, proven delay mitigation and leadership and focus in challenging and complex situations.
