Clean Cities is a Department of Energy sponsored program designed to reduce our nation’s petroleum consumption by advancing the use of alternative fuels and vehicles. There are over 100 coalitions nationwide. SVCC covers South Bay areas.

Marketing and International Development for a saline-based, fired ceramic semiconductor battery technology that may store 3 to 15 times as much electricity per kilogram as lithium battery technology. Also for a multi-junction, multi-crystalline alloy, fired ceramic semiconductor solar PV thin film, to be roll-to-roll printed on thin stainless steel, hard-anodized aluminum, or other ductile, hard and smooth material, that may convert up to 42% of solar energy to electricity.The battery and solar technologies will transform the transportation and energy industries. Both technologies use generic, commodity ceramic mineral inputs without supply chain choke points, and with long life, high safety, extremely low capital cost for factories, and very low Marginal Cost of Goods Sold.

Many school districts have cut back bus service because of the high cost of diesel fuel. The Electronic Transportation Development Center (ETDC) solution is to convert the existing buses to electric motors and batteries, 'fueled' primarily by solar panels above the bus parking lots.
