My career began in banking, at the age of 24 I was a Bank Manger before further leveraging my interests in productivity, performance, and process measurement.As Deputy Director of Operations at Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust my role is to support the continued transformation of services and provide commercial expertise and advice to our Business Units while embedding a culture of commercial focus and sustainability. Externally I plan to enhance relationships with individuals and organisations and explore opportunities for the Trust to grow both organically and in new areas.In my previous role I was a Senior Partner at Circle and Deputy General Manager at Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre, an organisation dedicated to its patients and a health care provider to both the NHS and Private market. I joined Circle to lead on the migration of whole services from one of the largest NHS teaching Trusts in the UK to the largest diagnostic, treatment, and day surgery hospital in Europe. As Deputy General Manager I operationally led and developed all of the core services to achieve the best clinical outcomes and the highest patient satisfaction while achieving optimum value for money.During my time at Circle I also led the business development strategy for Nottingham and delivered significant revenue growth. The foundation stones to increasing market share, both with existing and new services, was delivering care closer to home and improving access to patients. Prior to joining Circle I held a Board-level position as Chief Operating Officer at a commercially funded healthcare organisation where I commissioned a brand new hospital along with the successful acquisition of a leading market competitor.
