I am currently seconded to the Senior Project Manager role and am responsible for the merger of two of our 3 Emergency Operations Centre in early 2017. The Emergency Control centres in Sussex and Surrey will merge into one at a new site in Crawley; This role focuses on the following areas:Staff engagement and satisfactionLeadership developmentRecruitment, training and retention of staffErgonomic design of the new Emergency Operations CentreInternal and external stakeholder engagementManaging the entire project through MS Project and using Prince2 principles and methodologyCreation and implementation of Regional rostering systemsProject managing the re-design of the technology that will be used in the new environmentStandardising work processes to reduce variationLeading a team of Senior Managers to ensure their own areas of expertise is of a high standard and their individual requirements are met.My role is focused on establishing and building the content of a combined project plan (4 individual work streams) and initiating the necessary project governance and architecture to manage a complex set of activities and deliverables with all future EOC innovations and projects.
