My role as a Maintenance Surveyor continued when Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Councils housing stock transferred to RCT Homes. My work covers multidisciplinary team working, managing the schedule of work within approved budgets, updating the properties to the WHQS standard, quality/performance criteria and timescales, working under pressure to achieve.

My role as a Maintenance Surveyor involves all aspects of building maintenance, from day to day liaison with tenants on any building problems they may have, to major work on empty premises including long term high cost empty properties updating the properties to the letting standard. I have also dealt with the aftermath of fires to properties providing.

In my role as a carpenter I worked in both tenanted and void properties, installing kitchens, bathrooms, windows and doors etc ensuring the work was always of high quality, working as part of a team or working alone as and when required.

In my role as a carpenter I worked in schools and completed works of adaptation for Social Services. Performing general maintenance on school buildings, I also worked as part of a team carrying out major improvements and remodelling county council buildings ensuring the work was always of high quality.
