    Jon Larsen and I founded Richweb back in 1995 with a third party who left shortly thereafter for an overseas job with the Army. I’ve been involved but on the periphery of Richweb since then, acting at the Chairman for the board of Directors, business coach and advisor, and part time book keeper. As of January 26th, 2015 I am a full time, here every day, Richweb employee. It’s almost like a homecoming. Located off Sliding Hill Rd exit 86 of Interstate 95, I’m only a couple of miles from the neighborhood I grew up in. I told a friend “retirement is 10 letter word for getting to do what you want to do”, and that’s what I’m doing at Richweb.Located in the Pixel Factory Data Center Building along with Scott K. Brown Photography, and the The Richmond Virginia Internet Exchange (RVA-IX.net) makes the physical location an exciting place to come to work every day. Richweb performs network engineering services for these collocated partners / clients and many other clients. We are also a hosting company. Having our racks of servers and equipment right here in one of the premier data centers in the Richmond area means, we work in “the cloud” each and every day, and our customers can actually know where their cloud is.
