Report to Division President and Corporate Controller.• Led financial efforts, including modeling, justification, due diligence and contract review for acquisition of product in hernia market, which led to integration of product line into company offerings within three months and incremental $30M in sales in first calendar year. • Implemented cost control initiatives, during period where divisional sales were declining or falling short of budget/estimates, which, when instituted, saved over $2M per quarter, allowed for income attainment despite sales misses and permitted continued investments in key areas.• Developed and tracked strategy to generate cost savings through plant consolidations at over six facilities which ultimately led to annual savings in excess of $10M in duplicate spending. • Created financial performance metrics for sales management leadership to monitor sales performance by territory which provided variety of snapshots, by account, territory, product or sales person, while driving 25% increase in sales quota attainment in six months. • Developed and executed financial plan to expand sales force by 36%, which when implemented generated incremental $12M in sales in first year, and ensured that spending to achieve this goal was kept under budget.

Reported to Division President. • Enacted selling strategy and served as point person, partnering with investment banking community, to dispose of business unit with declining sales which led to $80M sale in just under six months, a significant net profit for organization. • Led division-wide implementation of JD Edwards within six month timeframe, which included oversight of consultants and coordination of script testing, resulting in greater controls and visibility to transactions and 20% reduction in month-end close process.• Installed financial processes and hired financial team in global distribution center, where no infrastructure had previously existed, which provided visibility to corporate-wide consolidated distribution spend and cost improvement initiatives valued in excess of $2M in savings annually. • Oversaw the roll-out of Sarbanes-Oxley at division, which included development of various controls, implementation of rigorous testing process, oversight of multiple consultants and consensus of external accounting firm, all within SEC mandated timeframes.
