Joint training advisor for the Jordanian Special Forces

Military Career1988 - July 2016 – Infantry – First Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (RRF)British Military Advisory Training Team – Head hunted for a 5 year position overseas to provide tactical advice, educate on analyses to training and provide professional instructional training to the Jordanian Special Forces. Within this period I trained the Operations Battalion, Princess Basma's Battalion (NATO) which awarded them their first successful pass for NATO operations. I then went onto convert and train the newly assembled Prince Hashim's Recce Battalion into their current roll. I designed, coordinated and executed sensitive projects for both civil and military agencies, significantly enhanced multi agency relations which aided in raising the profile of UK Forces. RRF Training Wing – Update, assess, write and convene courses required for the Battalion to keep a high level of readiness throughout. Manage and assess all instructors delivering courses. Advise the Battalions Commanding Officer & 2 i/c with realistic training and time appreciation in order to prepare the Battalion for Operations.Company Sergeant Major & Warrior Sergeant Major Rifle Company – Command all leadership, training, discipline and administration within an Armoured Infantry Company. With a structure of 5 Officers 10 SNCO’s 27 JNCO’s and over 100 privates at any time.Instructor & Tactical Advisor – 14 months posting to Canada training the wider field army in combined arms conventional warfare followed by 12 months carrying out Theatre specific training for Afghanistan and Iraq.
