Mark Leiss is the original founder of AFX Creative, ArsenalFX, and Apache Digital. With locations in Los Angeles, Detroit and San Francisco as well as satellites around the country, his companies have managed vfx, design, color, dailies and post production services on hundreds of national commercials as well as some of the best longform series work in the advertising world. Leiss grew up in Southern California and was introduced to television post production at a young age by the late Emmy award winning editor Gary Anderson. During the early days of his career Leiss trained under some of the best digital artists around on Quantel series products while honing his skills as a traditional vfx compositor. Through the years, he has become a highly sought-after award winning digital artist creating strong relationships with top industry directors and creatives. With investments in dark fiber services, these operations have the ability to oversee online and color sessions around the globe. An artist with the ability to deliver on the tightest deadlines with the upmost regard for his craft, Leiss has been honored with the loyalty of his clients for over 35 years. Mark lives in the home he helped build in Bell Canyon CA with his wife and two daughters. When not in the edit bay, you'll find Mark racing one of his vintage motorcycles in various events around the United States. Leiss also spends his time as a volunteer Firefighter and EMT with Cal-Fire and the BCFD.
