Who I am: Senior strategic leader with 34 years experience. My career has seen me work across many disciplines inclusive of: Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Production, Product Data Management, Business Systems, Continuous Improvement, Facility Management, New Product Introduction and Program Management. Driven by success and motivated by implementing business change at any relevant scale. Reacting well and remaining calm to varying levels of pressure, I am a clear and effective communicator with people at every level. I am a considered authentic leader, always enthused to learn, whilst mentoring and coaching others. Throughout my career I have been keen to walk towards problems and opportunities with proven acumen in decision making. I hold dear to me the importance of upholding commitments against demanding deadlines and the value of integrity and inclusiveness.Some key achievements:- Instrumental at restructuring and re-sizing the organisation during and post the COVID pandemic- Lead a team of circa 120 business SME's and approx 50 sub contractors that delivered a 3-year SAP implementation across all departments of the business- During a 21-year tenure in varying roles within McLaren Automotive, I was directly and indirectly (role dependant) part of a team responsible for the successful launch of 28 different products/variants- During the inception of the McLaren Production Centre (MPC) in 2011, I moved into a new role of "Business Unit Manager" responsible for heading up production and all the assembly areas with MPC. We successfully launched and delivered against Quality KPI's and annual volume targets- Whilst in the roles of Head of Manufacturing & Operational Excellence my team and I introduced countless process, system and facility upgrades, that accomplished some very specific requirements and outcomes e.g. waste removal, CI sponsorship, implementation and sponsorship of a "self managing team" ethos throughout the plant, which in turn enabled us to realise an increase in efficiency by circa 40%- In 2018 my team and I introduced transformation by way of implementing a "constraint management process/forum which included a "block change" system. This allowed for accurate correlation between sales orders, production order, supplier capability and improved assembly "right first time"- 2022 saw my team and I successfully and sustainably deliver the all new "MPC training academy". The results of this academy directly improving employee wellness, quality KPI's, volume and efficiency gains
