I currently work as an Associate Project Manager III for NYCT Capital Programs. My current duties are to liaise for user groups in DOS and C&D Delivery/Stations; monitor scopes and PRDCs for Station Programs; project oversight of ADA, elevator replacement, escalator replacement, station component; and station renewal contracts; troubleshoot issues between Subways and C&D Delivery/Stations; and manage the Beneficial Use and Final Acceptance process.I previously worked for NYCT Electronic Maintenance Division as a System Safety Specialist IV. For EMD my duties were to program fire and clean agent alarm systems using general and manufacturer software and hardware; provide emergency/24hr technical assistance, maintenance, analysis, and problem solving for intricate network, software, data, and communication issues; give complex system software / hardware design, direction, and support to MTA C&D, Certified Construction Managers, and Contractors on numerous capital projects; maintain, analyze, troubleshoot operating systems, and databases. Provide firmware updates and programming specifications; expertise in DOS Engineering’s Central Alarm Monitoring System, C•CURE 800. Navigate and analyze the data between the software and its communication with hundreds of FACPs; and serve as primary EMD FA Groups’ lead for multiple major Capital Construction Projects.I’ve also worked at MTA New York City Transit’s The Office of System Safety as a System Safety Specialist I and II. During my time at OSS I received my Certification as a Code Enforcement Official and Certificates of Achievements from FEMA. I was also fortunate enough to attend and complete the TEEX Jurisdictional Crisis Incident Management Training Course. Along with the certificates I obtained at OSS, my duties were to review and witness the installation, system programming, and testing of fire detection and fire suppression systems at NYCT leased facilities. Perform inspections for life safety and fire protection systems in compliance with NYCT Policy and National and State Fire/Life Safety Code. And prepare punch list items for CPM on findings from inspections of new life safety installations. I also performed annual facility inspections for several NYCT Facilities; verifying inspections, tests, maintenance, and repairs were performed at those NYCT Facilities; reviewed and prepared comments on design drawings from CPM; liaison between FDNY and NYCT for FD permits, FDNY Violation Orders, and FDNY A-8 Referrals; and performed Material Product Reviews for OSS Environmental Protection group.
