Mark Levinstein is a civil trial lawyer. He has been with Williams & Connolly in Washington, D.C. for more than 40 years, a partner for 34 years. His sports practice has involved more than forty (40) different sports, representing leagues, teams, team owners, team executives, coaches, scouts, players associations, national governing bodies, the USOC, event producers, universities, sponsors, licensees, professional, Olympic, collegiate, and amateur athletes. Since 1996 he has been the outside counsel and acting executive director for the US Men's National Soccer Team players association.Mark is co-author of a Sports Law casebook that examines Commissioner power, antitrust, labor law, intellectual property, agent issues, and many other sports industry legal issues.
