This is really just an update. In November 2017 my employers kindly paid for me to attend a Removals Masterclass Management Training Course. Myself and representatives from several other removal contractors took part in a variety of sessions covering all areas of the business. Namely Operations, Marketing, Online presence, Managing Reviews, Recruitment and HR including staff retention, Health and Safety and Insurance. In November 2017 my employers kindly paid for me to attend a Removals Masterclass Management Training Course. Myself and representatives from several other removal contractors took part in a variety of sessions covering all areas of the business. Namely Operations, Marketing, Online presence, Managing Reviews, Recruitment and HR including staff retention, Health and Safety and Insurance. A mind boggling field of adverse subjects, but core to most businesses, I see a great many transferrable skills here not just applicable to the removals industry.I have to say one of the most detailed, fun, well structured courses I've ever had the pleasure to attend, and certainly has changed not only my work profile, but also my attitude. I came back with a stronger clearer work ethic, understanding and also a bunch of new friends I wouldn't have made otherwise. Show less

Now overseeing the complete customer service and operations elements of the business. Second promotion of the year so far. Covering a customer's move from booking right through to completion, ensuring payments and paperwork all up to date, monitoring aspects of the move operationally, ensuring any customer issues being dealt with as and when they arise. Giving a total experience with the aim of giving that customer a reason to remember us and come back to us again!

I now act in the role of Customer Relationship Manager with Britannia Movers of East Anglia. Helping people through each stage of their removal process, ensuring it's as smooth and issue free as possible, and helping avoid any potential pitfalls if at all possible. This has been a short transition for me as I've worked here for only two and a half years. A great many key skills developed here, ultimately learned on the job. Giving exemplary customer service at all times, maintaining a highly team orientated work ethic, encouraging and mentoring others, whilst managing the key areas of the business in sales, marketing, income and growth. Learned a great many logistical skills, managing workloads to fit each day whilst ensuring fleet growth.
