A career leader since 1988, having worked in the secondary, tertiary and primary health care sectors (public and private) in the UK and in NZ. Having spent the last 24 years in the primary care space, I remain a staunch advocate for the value, role and criticality of strong, viable and well resourced General Practices delivering high quality, accessible care at the heart of a connected primary care sector. I have had the privilege to Chair, and latterly Co-Chair Collaborative Aotearoa working with an amazing group of dedicated governors and staff. I am so very proud of what was achieved during this time.I am currently a Board Member of the Federation of Primary Health Aotearoa.Previous Board/governance experience as a Trustee and Board member of a social services provider board. Specialties include, but not limited to: General management and executive level leadership, strategy development and implementation, business modelling and planning, service integration and design and relationship management.Experience as listed below covers the last 10 years only. Prior experience includes project management for the Bay of Plenty DHB in the Community Health and Disability Services division, primary care business management and 12 years operational management in the NHS at UCLH, Gt. Ormond Street and St. Albans City Hospitals.
