32 years experience of working in the global Oil, Gas, Energy, Nuclear and Construction Sector, involved in International Sales & Business Development in materials, services and engineered products. In recent times broadened scope to Digital services. Over the years i have held varying positions, working on a national and international basis, for both manufacturing companies and master distributors/ materials management companies, focused on supplying products, materials and packages to major fabricators, EPC contractors, blue chip/ OEM's and end users.Specialties:- extensive network of global contacts within IOC's/ NOC's, global EPC contractors and Blue Chip/OEM's related to the Oil, Gas, Energy Sectors, Nuclear and Construction sectors- managing package requirements for major fabricator/ EPC clients; piping packages, line pipe and offshore grade structural steels and corrosion resistant alloys through to machining, fabrications and assemblies for global blue chip/ OEM clients- wide sourcing knowledge of corrosion resistant alloy products, offshore grade structural steels through to flat round and long products and forgings, machining & fabrications.- significant experience in high value, complex machined components and fabrications for onshore, offshore and subsea applications. Strong relationships with vendors/ subcontractors in the UK, Europe & Asia/ China- negotiation of supply contracts with customers and suppliers alike, thus maximising profits on any given project- experience in management of direct/ indirect sales teams- solid relationships with agents in LATAM & APAC regions that can enhance and maximise my employer’s exposure and opportunities on a global basis
