- Provide Advisory & Assistance Services to the Joint Science & Technology Office (JSTO) for the Chemical & Biological Technologies (CBT) Directorate- Support the science and technology development of three Department of Defense (DoD) programs of record: the Joint Effects Model (JEM), the Joint Warning and Reporting Network, and the Joint Operational Effects Federation (JOEF)- Collaborate with national centers (e.g., NCAR), government agencies (e.g., NCEP, NRC), academia (e.g., PSU), and government contractors (e.g., L-3 Titan, SAIC) to incorporate new transport and dispersion (T+D) technologies into the DoD programs of record

- Initiated the incorporation of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Radiological Assessment System for Consequence Analysis (RASCAL), which is a radiological source term generator and atmospheric transport and dispersion code, into DTRA’s Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC) to utilize SCIPUFF and the meteorological data server (MDS) - Selected to provide meteorological support to NRC's Nuclear Security & Incident Response (NSIR) Division as a member of the Incident Response Team- Provide meteorological support for "new" nuclear power plants submitting early site permits (e.g., X/Q calculations, general meteorological statistics)- Support NRC's consequence assessment analysis using MACCS for operating nuclear power plants- Familiar with multiple NRC codes (e.g., MET-QA, ARCON96, PAVAN, MAACS) for analyzing meteorological data at nuclear power plant sites

- 24/7 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and high Explosive (CBRNE) expert. Provided emergency hazard modeling and WMD expertise (Reachback support). - Directly supported Warfighter: Routinely supported classified and emergency operations from forces deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan (details classified)- Primary Advisory, Assistance and Support (AA&S) support DTRA’s Nuclear Fallout and Radiological transport and dispersion program to DTRA's Nuclear Technologies (NT) division- Lead coordination and testing of Radiological Transport in HPAC (RTH) into DTRA operations- Lead operational employment and evaluation of DTRA’s future computational capability, Integrated Weapons of Mass Destruction Tool (IWMDT)

- Prepared national daily PM2.5 and O3 air quality forecasts in support of the EPA's AIRNow program- Developed automated computer algorithms to estimate daytime mixing heights from radar wind profiler moments and nighttime nocturnal boundary layer heights using RASS. Algorithms are being implemented into a software package designed to produce automated mixing heights (LAPMom)- Created 3-dimensional wind fields using the CALMET meteorological model by integrating radar wind profiler, RASS, sounding, buoy, surface station, and ETA/EDAS model data- Performed CALMET meteorological modeling and CALPUFF atmospheric dispersion modeling in the San Joaquin Valley as part of the CRPAQS study
