Since founding Chalk Studios in 2010 I have lead the company to become a well established, profitable and respected centre for design and production in London. As the director of a micro company I have been responsible for all aspects of the company from direction, management and production. In the last 7 years I have pitched to, and worked alongside some of the largest companies and institutions, building long standing relationships and developing products, ideas and processes which have generated impact worldwide. My role requires me to take clients from the initial consultation right through to the final delivery of the project. During that process I take a clients brief and develop it into a project which helps to communicate their message in a visual and engaging way which their end users can understand. I do this by combining my extensive knowledge of traditional and emerging technologies to develop, new innovative approaches to problems, resulting in exciting and tangible solutions. I was invited to become an Associate Lecturer at CSM University of Arts to deliver a bi-annual module for 2nd Year BA Hons Architecture students covering 3D Modelling software and the use of emerging technology in architecture. My role involved producing and delivering a two month bespoke syllabus of weekly sessions. This was aimed at supplying the students with a solid knowledge of the subject matter, in a way which meant they could directly improve their ability to communicate their ideas in other areas of the course. I have also participated in talks at London Metropolitan University and Private Functions speaking as a specialist on the emergence of 3D technologies, bio-materials and their future impact on industry.

Client facing role working across the architectural industry, I successfully delivered over a hundred time sensitive projects to the majority of the industry’s largest architectural practises with projects ranging up to £150k. The position consisted of the design and management of architectural projects, taking direct briefings from clients, being the point-of-call for clients and suppliers on a day-to-day basis, liaising with other project managers as well as the company’s directors and managing a team of junior staff. As part of my role I was involved as the lead designer for the exhibition space in the V&A museum for their Future Pylon Exhibition. I also produced all the architectural exhibits for Ron Arad’s ‘No Discipline’ Exhibition at the Pompidou Centre, Paris and MOMA, New York.
