CurrentWe dreaded the arrival of COVID. Universal niched in churches and schools, and among the first to close...were churches and schools. We faced a 70% hit in our commercial cleaning business at Universal Janitorial Services. So we doubled-down. We increased our sales and marketing and saw tremendous results. That led to three classes of inquiries: 1) local facilities wanting cleaning and/or disinfecting, 2) facilities outside our service area wanting consulting to keep their facilities safer, and 3) direct and indirect competitors wanting to know how we grew during COVID. It was a no brainer. We added consulting within Universal and I started coaching through My Clean Pivot. I coach cleaning business owners how to reduce their chaos and how to grow to 6-7 figures, drawing from Universal's success to a 7-digit company.
