As Branch Manager I have full P&L responsibility for the various stores I have worked in. I have undertaken this role in a number of store in various parts of the country with turnover up to £5m per annum and 80+ team members that I have ultimate responsibility for. My 16 years retail experience, working my way through the ranks means I have first hand.

As Assistant Branch Manager I was responsible for managing teams of various sizes in the multiple stores I worked in. In my last role as AM I was responsible for the training & development, performance management and welfare of over 70 team members. I had responsibility for the achievement of overhead budgets, legal compliance, both H&S and trading/pricing.

Weekend cashier position. Worked as part of the service team whilst studying at college. 6 months after starting I was given Assistant Till Supervisor responsibilities and trusted with supervising the checkout and cashing up operation in the absence of the Till Supervisor. The more experience I gained with Wilko, the more I realised I thrived in a fast.
