I am a Senior Project Manager within the Infrastructure Capital Works team at the City of Wanneroo. My key responsibilities include delivery of major projects, consultant and contractor procurement, design management, contract management, project cost management and reporting to Citywide stakeholders and the Executive team.I have worked as a Project Manager (client-side) in Perth for over 15 years, and prior to that as Associate Structural Engineer at Arup for 14 years working in multi-disciplinary design consultancies in both Perth and the UK. I have worked on a wide range of retail, commercial, airport, residential, heritage and industrial projects and at various stages from inception through design to construction delivery. I have also represented various interstate clients during the whole life-cycle of their projects from site identification and acquisition, to managing project approvals, design and construction. My strengths rest in my work skills and practical approach to problem solving, and my background in structural/civil engineering has enabled me to provide my clients with immediate solutions and value engineering cost savings to their projects. I see myself as someone who acts in a professional manner, working with integrity and who takes pride in their contribution to projects. I enjoy working in challenging and dynamic environments, and I have fostered close working relationships with all project participants adjusting to differing work situations as they have arisen. I am a chartered member of Engineers Australia, a chartered engineer with the Institution of Structural Engineers and I am an Australian passport holder.
