- Supervised the Systems, Database Administration and Computer Operations Branch consisting of 12 Staff members supporting a 24/7 Information Technology operation. - Staff administer all Agency Information Technology resources to include Web/Applications Servers (Hardware and Software), Mainframe and Server Databases, Data Analysis Software, Security configurations, Back-Up and Recovery Hardware and Software.- Computer Operations administers and monitors the Mainframe and Server Production Environments. Performs migrations of new and updated Applications into Production Environments. - Directed 5-year Federal Grant funded project to implement Agency Web Applications environment. Team Leader overseeing all aspects of initiative from developing Technical specifications, engaging multiple vendors and consultants, hiring Project implementation team. Managed Project finances to meet defined goals and objectives.- Analyzes Resource usage, establishes performance standards and develops resource capacity plans allowing for growth of current User applications and data.- Develops and enforces policies for administration of software such as naming standards, technical attributes, maximum response times and change management. - Coordinates plans for the installation, maintenance and upgrades of Mainframe and Server software and hardware.- Develops security policies, procedures and configurations to protect critical Resources.
