- Welcoming, directing and speaking or presenting to visitors at university events including Open Days, school visits and exhibitions on and off campus .- Conducting tours, campus wide or Faculty / School specific.- Acting as a positive role model to prospective students.- Supporting new students guiding them through the on-line enrolment system.- Acting as a first point of contact at events for student and visitor enquiries referring all student enquiries to the permanent specialist staff i.e. Registry, International Office, Academics etc.- Presenting Student Life talks to teachers, careers advisors, parents and prospective students both on and off campus.- Contributing to the development and implementation of surveys, focus groups and other such mechanisms to collect the views of students excluding any that provide sensitive information or specific personal data relating to peers. - Monitoring appropriate web pages and other media including media walls and assure materials are in the appropriate format prior to proposing developments.- Supporting new Student Ambassadors in their role.
