I am a Healthcare Entrepreneur & Doctor having built & sold an award winning, profitable business that saved the NHS £1 million per month.I am always looking for disruptive innovations & ideas that can make healthcare better globally. I created & built, MediHome, a game-changing hospital at home provider, enabling patients to be cared for & treated at home rather than stay in hospital longer. I identified the potential market whilst working as a clinical doctor in the UK & Australia & seeing first-hand the poor utilisation of hospital beds globally. My MediHome challenge was to create the market for such services in the UK by disrupting the status quo. I then had to crack the code of a bureaucratic & often risk adverse NHS to buy these new disruptive services. My business saved the NHS £1Million/month with our great award winning service & also dramatically improved patient experience & patient outcomes. My passion & commitment to do what is right for patients, right for shareholders & right for customers/staff combined with huge levels of perseverance & determination ensured that I succeeded in realising my vision for better healthcare. With my collaborative, confident & calm style I create high performing teams that make visionary & game-changing commercial leaps.Expertise: Entrepreneurial growth & building businesses Growth & profits in international markets Healthcare service & operations excellence Innovation & market disruption Game-changing commercial strategies Cracking the code of partnering/negotiating successfully with the NHS
