Change Recruitment Group was Scotland's leading independent recruitment consultancy and successfully completed a £14M MBO in December 2006 backed by NBGI Private Equity ("NBGI PE"), the small to mid-market buyout specialist. Change Recruitment Group, through its divisions Change, The Resource Group, Change Solutions and Change International, covered a broad spectrum of the recruitment market. The business was founded in 1970, as Douglas Llambias Associates before rebranding to Change in 2000, and built a strong reputation over the years in consistently providing a superior level of service and supporting key growth areas in the Scottish economy. Change was on the Preferred Supplier List of over ninety mostly blue chip companies, and also offered managed agency and complete outsourced recruitment (RPO) services.Change was focused on the recruitment of professionals in Financial Services and Investment, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Learning & Development and Legal. I also had responsibility for the growth and development of the recruitment teams engaged in the placement of professional staff in Financial Services and Investment, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources and Legal. I managed the Group’s advertising and marketing strategy. I ran the Gleneagles and Paris Conferences and founded the Financial Director of the Year Awards in Scotland. This award is now in it’s 25th year.

Initially joined Accountancy Personnel (now Hay's) as a consultant specialising in Public Practice recruitment in Scotland and overseas which was challenging in the days before email and fax machines!!
