Mark advises and appears in courts and tribunals in a wide range of property disputes. Clients include the major London estates, private property groups, local authorities and retailers.He is General Editor of "Service Charges & Management" (Sweet & Maxwell), the leading legal text on property management, the fifth edition of which was published in January 2022. He is also editor of "Rent Review: A Surveyors Handbook" (RICS, 2008).Mark was lead counsel for the Respondents in FirstPort Property Services v Settlers Court RTM Co - the first right to manage case to reach the Supreme Court. In 2023, he appeared in the Court of Appeal in Dell v Holland Park Management, in what is believed to be the single largest individual residential service charge dispute to come before the tribunals.
