New Dawn Communities is a ministry of World Christian Outreach, a 501c3 charitable organization. We transform orphans to leaders bringing hope by creating and supporting high schools for orphans in Kenya and Tanzania. These are Christ centered communities that graduate students scoring in the top 3% of schools in their country. Over 70% go on to Universities with government assistance due to their high academic achievement. Roughly $80 per month will fund an orphans high school education and care. This Board sets transportation funding priorities and policies for the SF Bay area (9 Counties).

An elected position, one of five Supervisors elected by District to four year terms. We oversee the County of Napa including setting policy and budget priorities regarding land use, public works, health and human services, and criminal justice. We each serve on various other local and regional agencies. I serve on the Napa Sanitation District, the Upper Valley Waste Management Authority, the Napa Vallejo Waste Management Authority, the and Association of Bay Area Counties Executive Board, to name a few.

I am one of five elected County Supervisors who set policy and direction for the County of Napa. We assure our tax revenues are spent well meeting the needs of our current population while improving our community for future generations. Our responsibilities are broad and cover nearly everything except education.

I developed and performed environmental stewardship training for HES professionals on four continents for Chevron and other related services as needed.

I will completed my two year term as ABAG President in January, 2013. It was an important term as we finalized the the SF bay area's first sustainable community strategy.I have served in various roles on ABAG since 1997. I am most proud of my participation on the committee that created the Bay Area Green Business Program (now the California Green Business) and helped guide and support it's development since its inception.I continued to participate at ABAG as the Immediate Past President.
