Developing a Masterplan for the regeneration of Kingswood town centre on the East Fringe of Bristol, as part of the West of England 'Love our High Street' project. The project was successfully awarded additional funding from the governments Future High Street Fund in December 2020.

The team is responsible for significant public realm improvements, specialist design liaison with regard to development proposals at the planning stage, leading the councils protection and promotion of the city's historic environment and public art.N.B. Mark moved to North Somerset in 2002 to lead the urban design and conservation functions, and focus on the regeneration of Weston-super-Mare town centre and seafront. Having secured an £11million programme of public realm enhancements, he went on to co-ordinate the implementation of the Weston Civic Pride Initiative, and led on the regeneration of Knightstone Island from conception to its completion in 2008

Initially employed as an Urban Design Assistant but rising to Co-ordinator of Urban Design and Conservation. Played a key role within a number of award wining projects including Bristol Legible City, Temple Quay, Broadmead Expansion, the City Centre Strategy, and the Living in the City Initiative. In addition contributed to a number of policy documents including the Bristol Local Plan, Suplementary design guidance and the citywide Conservation Statements.
