I am a Millwright with a specialization in improvements and innovation. I strive to maintain a high level of knowledge in the mechanics and controls of all types of equipment in all technical and manufacturing sectors. In the modern maintenance environment of today I strive to stay current on all types of predictive and preventative maintenance technological tools to limit unexpected downtime and address root cause problems inherent in all age and designs of equipment. Re-engineering, re-designing, and retrofitting equipment to bring it to current best practice standards in reliability and productivity while maintaining the budget designated for the retrofit drives me, not just simply fixing the same problem over and over. PDCA, Root Cause, and Metric Analysis allow me to focus on low lying fruit and critical path items to maintain focus on productivity and continuous improvement.
