I have managed to build my music school to approximately 15 students this year. I teach with enthusiasm and passion. I strive to maintain a positive attitude in every lesson. I build on the confidence of my students, and they always feel encouraged after every lesson.

For one year I gave Guitar and Drum lessons at Curro Sagewood, Founders Hill College and Buccleuch Primary School. During my time working for Swallow 15, the unfortunate turn of events caused by COVID-19 forced all the music teachers to teach online from home. Although this was not planned, it was a great success teaching online. I taught over 60 students while I worked for Swallow 15. I loved working for Swallow 15, however, I lost too many students, so I decided to start my own music school.

I started MDM Creations to pursue new challenges and successes. My primary focus was on Marketing, Printing, and Designing. I picked up an incredible amount of experience during this endeavor and I still use the tools I acquired to this day, especially in Social Media Marketing.

From May 2018, I was responsible for buying, selling, and marketing of Real Bottles Pty Ltd. Market research to maintain competitive pricing and services. To oversee, manage and maintain all operations within the company. Responsible for all business revenues, customer complaints, or issues. Delivering a high standard of customer service. Doing cash up at the end of each working day. Handling the emails and handling phone calls in the office. Daily, weekly, and monthly stock takes. Working on MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint. Debt collection of clients' overdue accounts. Ensure supplier accounts are paid in a timely manner. And reporting to the Business Owner.

Since January, 2018 I have been responsible for all of the buying, sales, and marketing of Nunes Video Games. Handling customer inquiries. Invoicing. Carrying out general maintenance and repairs of the machines. Building of Arcade Machines. Maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering a high standard of customer services. And reporting to the business owner.

For more than a year I was responsible for all the operations of an amusement arcade store. My job was to oversee, manage and maintain mechanical machines, arcade machines, bar stock, redemption stock, and all of the employees. Keeping a track record of all maintenance of the arcade. Responsible for the store’s revenues, customer complaints and issues, order and peace inside the store and report any unwanted incidents or criminal activities in the store. Recruiting new employees. Training employees. Handling the financials of the store, paying accounts, approving and requesting payments, purchasing bar, and redemption stock. Doing cash up at the end of my shifts. Handling the emails and handling phone calls in the office. Daily, weekly and monthly stock take. Managing the roaster and timesheets of the employees.Handling the marketing of the store. Working on the Embed system (The arcade runs on this system. Customers load credits/tokens on a gaming card and play games by swiping the card). Working on the Pilot system (The Bar is run on the Pilot POS system). And reporting to the General Manager.

For more than one year my responsibilities have been posting and clearing invoices against authorized time using SAP accounting system from US or Non-US vendors and agencies. Verification of invoices and its completeness like approvals, back- ups and purchase orders. Ensuring accurate input tax computations in accordance to US or Non-US government tax laws. Assisting in providing reports and documentation for annual external and internal audit engagements. Maintaining a controlled record of all received and processed invoices. Ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices. Making necessary adjustments in SAP. Monitoring FileNet scanned invoices in different queues. Contacting the Project to confirm appropriate charge codes for non-labor items. Sending requests to Vendor Master Data regarding new vendor setup and change in vendor’s details. Attending to US vendors’ communications regarding remittances and follow-ups. Retrievals of financial documents and reports requested by Project accountants and other internal users for reconciliation purposes. Maintaining internal controls within the unit. Checking all FI Invoices and ensure that each are properly coded by the correct charge codes and approved by appropriate approver. Ensure all accounting entries entered in SAP are authorized and in compliance with the Company’s accounting policy and GAAP. Communicating with US site projects for queries and discrepancies on the invoices. Ensure accurate and timely payments of vendor invoices and employee expense reports. Ensure strict confidentiality of financial information, records, transactions and documentations.

For more than four years, my duties were to report and claim stock variations and delivery shortages. I had to return goods with the correct prices and details into the computer system. Check invoices for alterations. Ensure goods were up to standard and in good condition. I am also an experienced SAP user; SAP was implemented at Dis-Chem Hazeldean in 2009 to improve the stock receiving system in ordering of stock, accurate receiving of stock. SAP picks up on the finer details like over stocked, short or not ordered deliveries.I have had the privilege in training in OTC (Over the Counter)/Sales, on the cash register, merchandising, data capturing, ordering of stock, and customer services.

For three years, my duties were to capture received invoices and data with the correct prices and details on the computer system. Printing shelf talkers and price labels and ensure that they are all correct. Confirm mark ups with store manager.
