Senior Htm Technician
CurrentIndependently service complex medical device systems and high-risk equipment. Work collaboratively with the Information Services Department and other support service departments to manage integrated medical systems. Performs routine repairs on a broad range of electromechanical medical equipment using basic test equipment and repair tools. Prepares and maintains related documentation. Perform preventative maintenance testing of routine electromechanical medical equipment according to established procedures. Understand medical device regulations and ensure assigned medical devices are managed in compliance with those regulations. Participate in inspection tours of clinical and/or research areas using medical equipment. Document all service actions and comply with documentation guidelines and metrics defined in department policy. Build and maintain customer relationships and independently manage clinical resource area(s). Consult and collaborate with peers to resolve outstanding issues. Acts as a technical resource for both colleagues and clinical customer base
