I began my career with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services February 1991 as a Social Services Specialist. In 2003, I accepted a supervisory position in Adult and Family Services, supervising 4 Social Services Specialists, eventually increasing my supervisory responsibilities to 10 specialists. In 2018, I transferred to the Quality Assurance Unit of Adult and Family Services, becoming a Social Service Inspector. My duties involved reading cases for accuracy, identifying error trends and preparing presentations for county staff to review these trends and make recommendations for improvement.In January 2021, I accepted a position with the Quality Control Unit as a Programs Field Representative. My primary responsibility is to review sample cases, interview clients, and determine the accuracy of the case being reviewed.In my spare time, I host a weekly podcast, which is broadcast live on YouTube. This has developed my interviewing skills, as well as public speaking abilities. I try to inject humor into every aspect of life, because life is too short to not laugh and enjoy it. I am a very social person and I enjoy meeting new people and developing collaborative friendships. I am a team player, but I can work individually if necessary.I try to live life to the fullest, therefore, my motto is "Life is an adventure, be adventurous".
