Responsible for a team of 35+ individuals in the large-scale production of House Dust Mite source material for use in allergy immunotherapy treatments. Managing a multimillion-dollar budget while planning for both sort and long-term initiatives including exponential growth. Develop and support manufacturing strategies, plans and processes to sustain and improve productivity and provide leadership to all manufacturing and related functions. Lead projects and worked with cross functional teams to see improvements happen throughout the organization.

Responsible for the supervision and leadership of Quality Control Inspectors. Accountable for the sampling, inspection, testing, and examination of components, mixtures, in-process materials, finished product and production areas. Responsible for ensuring that inspection measuring and test equipment used for inspecting, testing and/or examining is fit for the intended purpose, calibrated and maintained. Ensuring that all applicable procedures are followed. Remain thoroughly knowledgeable of the applicable portions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain knowledge base on an ongoing, timely basis as procedural changes occur without relying on management intervention or direction.Improve sampling practices using lean methods and analysis.

Responsible for the supervision and leadership of production employees in the manufacturing and packaging of a variety of different products using effective communication, coaching, and development skills. Coordinate with Human Resources to hire and train new employees, deliver performance evaluations, and administers disciplinary actions as warranted.Ensures appropriate staffing levels based on production needs and create and maintain a weekly production schedule while effectively using labor, materials, and support services to meet quality standards, production goals, and profit plans.Lead and participate in continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives while coordinating with other departments to ensure compliance with GMP, QSR/ISO, FDA, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements.

Responsible for QSR/GMPs, process improvement, team development, staffing and production management motivation. Utilizing six sigma principles to achieve and/or exceed production objectives, quality standards, process yields and machine efficiencies.
