CurrentMark has been in the fire and life safety industry for over 38 years serving in many different aspects of the industry, starting in the field with fabrication and installation, then moving into design in both the contracting arena and for one of the world leaders in fire protection software. Mark then became a code and engineering consultant working with several fortune 500 companies, which afforded him an opportunity to start and develop a regional office, which he quickly grew. He then became an account executive responsible for expanding and increasing revenue with existing clients. This lead to an executive sales role, in which he was directly responsible for a large portion of the company’s sales and earned top salesmen for several years. Mark is a CFPS and over the course of his career has worked on projects in all fifty states, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, the Middle East, and Europe. Mark is currently EVP of Business Development for Global Fire Protection Group, LLC, bringing his depth of experience in the industry as well as his knowledge of multiple market sectors all over the world. Mark’s primary focus is on business development, growth strategy, and market penetration. He is the married father of four and grandfather of three, currently residing outside Minneapolis Minnesota.
