Product Line Development – North AmericaResponsible for material, product, & process engineering for North American Flooring and Acoustic systems. Implement standard constructions and processes to reduce operating costs while delivering increased value to the customer.Advanced Manufacturing Engineering – North America Lead development of primary capital equipment to facilitate the manufacturing of Auria’s products in North America. Direct/ Guide internal equipment design, specifications, and procurement process. Approval of capital request for North American team.

Oversee product, process, equipment, and tooling development activities for North American flooring and acoustic systems.

Lead a cross functional: engineering, technical, and maintenance teams operating in a 350,000 sqft facility with $90M in annual revenue. Core areas of responsibility include: process engineering, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, facilities, capital forecasting, research & development, and continuous improvement.

Manage and lead a team whose goal is to drive process/ product: development, continuous improvement, and process control.

 Supervise and lead a interdisciplinary team of 6 Engineers Develop staff via performance feedback and assigning goals/ deliverables Oversee plant responsibility for product and process launch Work with corporate engineering, corporate product development, and outside contractors to design processes to manufacture new products Implement new processes and improve existing processes through Engineering, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies Focus on delivering high quality and low cost to meet financial obligations and customer expectations Represent the company in interactions with the customer that require technical experience Manage and oversee capital projects within the plant Coordinate inter company and external customer sample/ engineering requests Operate in a 6 day, 3 shift production environment with 300+ employees

 Maintained ISO9001:2008 QMS for the plant and TS16949/ ISO17025 certifications for testing lab Managed compliance to APQP process on all existing and new programs Maintained and updated all plant FMEA’s, control charts, and flow charts Maintained Customer Satisfaction Audit (CSA) system and compliance Created and managed the plant Layered Process Audit (LPA) System and compliance Conducted Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor manufacturing variation Maintained quality metrics, quality goals and performance reporting Ensured proper communication with raw material vendors and tracked their performance Participated in vendor development Managed 13 direct reports including: 1 Lab Manager, 2 Engineers, 5 Lab Techs, 4 QC Inspectors, and 1 Analyst Operated in a 550,000 square foot plant with 364 personnel and $130 million in annual sales
