As SVP and Managing Director of the Pegasystems' Healthcare Division, I was responsible for managing the P and L of the unit. Over eight years, this business unit grew to over $150m in revenue. Initially tasked with building and growing the Business Process Management market in Healthcare, this team utilized the Pegasystems' BPM platform to develop applications for all the core functions of healthplans and PBMs. This business focused on acquiring business from the largest 50 healthplans, BCBS plans, top 10 PBMs and certain government agencies, including the VA, CMS and several Medicaid programs. This business developed applications for Sales Process Management, Enrollment, Rating and Quoting, Onboarding, Authorization Processing, Care Management, Clinical and Financial Gap Closure, Call Centers, and Claims Processing. This highly profitable business unit consistently was recognized by Pega as a leading growth unit.

As Senior Vice President and Managing Director, I was responsible for the creation and growth of this business unit, growing to nearly $60m in revenues. This business unit focused on decision support for Plans, TPAs, Self Insured Employers, and certain Providers.

As SVP of Sales and Account Management, I had responsibility for revenue growth and customer success for this health plan and provider decision support and care management company. During my time here, revenues grew from $1m to over $30m, with margin levels averaging over 40%.

As part of the HMO Blue Senior Management team, we built the HMO Blue business to over 1.6m members, combining both a Staff model HMO and an independent physician and hospital network. This position was involved in all efforts required to build and sustain this business including Utilization Management, Case Management, Sales, Account Management, Provider Network Management, Contracting, Decision Support, and Customer Service.

In this role, we created a profit center focused on data analytics consulting work supported by data collected utilizing the Medisgroups system.
