Manage the Software QA and Testing of all major 7-Eleven systems by outsourced partners through the creation of a Test CoE. Lead and managed the User Acceptance Testing of all software development and implementation at 7-Eleven, Inc. Introduced test automation and service virtualization to the organization's QA Program.• Lead the management and strategic positioning of company in software test processes, procedures, and QMO. Managed a group of strategic partners providing test services across the enterprise software platforms with test teams ranging in size from 50 to 150 on and off shore testers. Responsible for a budget ($1,500,000 annually) for achieving QA roadmap. • Hired and developed a group of 3 test managers and 5 senior test analysts to lead the business through User Acceptance Testing. This team was managing between 30 and 50 projects a year spanning the depth and breadth of Enterprise Systems.• Planned and directed testing of 15 to 30 projects at any one time, from small $100,000 projects to enterprise-wide projects $50,000,000 in size. • Initiated automation test process, including development of framework and tool selection for test automation, and creation of Automated Test Team. Managed automation of Oracle ERP modules, and other enterprise software platforms. Initial savings of 25% on first Oracle ERP project.• Through effective Servant Leadership collaborated with the Business Stakeholders, Development teams, and Project Management group to develop a framework for managing business-user acceptance testing, producing 20% reduction in amount of time spent on testing, with 50% reduction in number of defects found in production for all Financial Oracle ERP-based activity. Framework included establishment of tollgate process ensuring documentation, configuration, defect remediation, and code moves were managed before user signoff.

• Developed a professional QA test team performing integration (end-to-end) testing of retail information system host, store back office, and POS systems. Implemented test management tool (HP/Micro Focus Quality Center) for control, documentation, and reporting of all activity pertaining to test project. • Collaborated with business and development teams developing entry and exit criteria and ensuring software quality measured against preset conditions. Created change management methodology, ensuring all changes to requirements tracked and included in requirements traceability matrix and tested appropriately. • Planned and created secure, managed, and sustainable test lab of 80 store systems with peripherals, including gasoline pump simulators, safes, printers, wireless ordering terminals, wireless handheld inventory scanners, money order machines, and live store computer-based training systems. I ensured infrastructure availability for backend host systems with front end store systems.

• Developed business requirements in conjunction with operations study team for initial store ordering system. Created and delivered training material for end-user store personnel ordering system. Worked with operations and IT developers in determining requirements and communicated functional elements of product design to system specifications developers.• Managed and tested development of vendor terminal system for receiving store orders.
