About Mark Marshall

After spending time in banking and mainframe operations I moved to sales and had 14 years experience working for a systems integrator before joining Ara (formally CPIT) for 15 years. I am delighted to have joined the team at University of Canterbury in 2023 to be part of their digital transformation.My current role sees me spending much of my time planning future developments and engaging with the institution to create and implement a vision for Digital services supporting our core business. I have been involved in the organisation of the National Tertiary ICT conference for the past 10 years, and I am a longstanding member of the New Zealand Trust & Identity in Education & Research Steering Committee.
