I have had an unusually well rounded career and bring numerous skill sets to the table. I am presently a Chief Credit Officer with management over all bank credit activities across the state of Arizona. Among my strengths are exceptional business development and sales management skills developed over 35 years building loan portfolios, departments and banks. I spent 34 years of my career in the Denver business community. I have significant experience in business banking, lower tier middle market and retail bank management. During my years at Key Bank I served as Community Banking Team Leader, managing what was then a 27 branch delivery system for the entire state of Colorado. I also managed the Business Banking unit for Colorado to being the top producing unit in Key Bank nationally for several years. I have both de novo market and de novo bank experience.I have strong, proven portfolio management skills. I am very adept at managing toward preservation and improvement of asset quality. I have significant experience in assuming management of a team of individuals and getting my arms around and gaining control of a problematic loan portfolio and managing it back to health. I have worked through multiple economic downturns resulting in significant special assets experience.
